Hari Raya and Birthdays

Firstly Selamat Hari Raya eventhough its already late to wish. Been so busy with college and festive season. So didnt really have the time to blog.

What we all normally do during first day of Raya after the Raya prayers is to go visit sibling's grave. For me, i went to visit my mum and grandmum's grave. Raya is consider one of the sad day for me since i lost my mum 4 years ago 20 days after my birthday.It's been 4 years celebrating Hari Raya without her, it felt really sad.All i can do as a son is to be someone that people can be proud of.

As usual i went back to Seremban to see my dad and step's siblings for Raya. Manage to get almost 1k of green packets this year...this is considered low since i usually get more than that....the reason mostly because i was kinda lazy to go to some houses that i'm suppose to go to visit each year. Well usually there is my dad to follow us to go there but he's at seremban so can't visit during Raya time. Well since its Raya obviously there'll be lots of cookies, ketupat and rendang. All of them made by step mum and it's really delicious especially the cookies.

This month quite a number of birthdays that already passed or just around the corner.

Happy 19th birthday to Shannon. Sorry can't make it to your birthday party since i got a really big problem that day.

4 days ago

Well 4 days ago started like any other day...wake up in the morning and stuff like that.

During the afternoon went out with jay,winter and ryan to ftz to play some dota.
After 2 games of dota i got a phone called from my dad.It was around 6.40pm

Dad: Where are u ?
Faiz: At FTZ.
Dad: Come back home now. Someone broke into the house.
Faiz: Okay i'll go back home.

After few mins, i reached home and saw police car already at my house. My sis was like crying cause she was at home that time with my step bro's roommate (he was sleeping and didnt realise his stuff already gone lol). I asked my sis what really happened...she said that 2 chinese guy come into the house and one of them was carrying a rambo knife which was pointing at her while the other guy went to look for stuff to steal. After they finish stealing they took my sis car keys and went off with the car. After they left, my sis quickly phone 999 to call the police. In less than 10 mins the police arrived and already started the patrol car search for my sis car. We went to the police station afterwards like at 8.40pm. When we reach there another victim which was a chinese girl went to report to the police cause she was robbed from the same guys too and was almost being kidnap by them. The police later ask her what was the plate number of the car...she was like MAV 3184 ...we were like that's my sis car ..so its the same guys then. After giving info's to the police we head back home.

3 days later, around 11 am the Inspektor Husairin(the one incharge of this case) called and said that they caught one guy and they already found the car. It was good news for us but we already bought a new viva to replace that car lol. Other than that he said that we need to come by the police station tomorrow for identification of the suspect and also for the car.

Well that's all about the incident. Today need to do the identification and also collect the new viva from perodua we fully paid it by cash....so in less than 4 days we already get it. :) if loan sure take weeks.

Apart from that....i still need to see a dentist but most of them are fully booked till after raya damn....cant get my braces done.

Today

Today Me, Sis, Izan, Ana and Mazrina went to PKNS and SACC Mall at Shah Alam.

So the 5 of us went there to buy hari raya clothes there since some clothes are designer's made and can cost you quite alot of money. Especially like my baju melayu cost around RM 500 :). Most of us spend quite alot today for clothes only but i bought like the whole set with the sampin as well the songkok. My theme for this year is dark blue, well it was suppose to be pink but i thought nvm next year then since blue is favourite color.

While walking around the PKNS we saw this fine masterpiece of Chinese + Arab Caligraphy. Since the 5 of us appreciate arts very much. We went to have a look at their shop which have like alot of caligraphy in all shape and sizes. The best part is the writer of the caligraphy is a chinese muslim from china. He's been writing all these since 40 years ago and i can say he's quite famous since he already made alot of caligraphy for famous people like for example Tun Dr. Mahathir and some other ministers. The one that mostly do the talking is his son cause his dad cant speak malay or english and only in mandarin. The dad only come here once a year sometimes twice a year and mostly he'll be in china. The nice part is that his caligraphy is so freaking nice and its written on pure silk which i thought would be expensive but he sells for very very very reasonable price.

The one that me and Mazrina bought which only cost us around RM 50 only each...really cheap for a masterpiece like this (same as Tun Dr. Mahathir's one)

This is the man that drew all that. He did it in like 3 mins or less ...really pro. The one behind him is the one that ana and izan bought to put at their house.

Ana's one cost RM280 and she bought another 1 which spells her name...really really nice which cost another RM 120. Izan's one cost around RM 220 cause its smaller than ana's one but both without the frame cause with the frame its worth RM800..

After seeing all that went back to SACC Mall to check out alya's(my niece and yes ...i'm already an uncle lol) baju kurung for hari raya. Went to D'rias and bought like 2 for her.

Since the clock shows its already 6.30pm its time to head back home for buka puasa. Went to Thai Corner at Taipan to buka puasa. Like usual butter prawn, tom yam kung, pandan chicken, green curry and kailan oyster sauce. Woah nice right ?

This week happenings

All i can say that this whole week is almost the same as last week.

1) Watch movies
2) Go Bazaar Ramadhan with friends
3) Shopping for Hari Raya
4) Planning to go to Bar-celona on Saturday ?
5) Playing game non-stop

Most of the days, all i did was go out to watch movies and hanging out with friends either at their house or go to 7th floor at college (pool and snooker place) and not to forget playing games at home yes i know. no life. well what to do i got like 1 month+ of holidays to kill.
One of these days Ryan decided to join me to buka puasa at my house. Well its kinda weird. Since that day suddenly alot of people coming over to my house to buka puasa. Example my sis's friends, sis's bf, my friend and my cousin. More people means more food to share lol we had like a variety of food to choose from. After buka puasa, me and ryan decided to go meet up with Rachel since she called us after buka puasa. We went to college for awhile to meet up with Eugene and Kong. We played few games of pool to kill some time and decided to go to SS14 Mamak Bistro for a drink. Eugene and Kong left after few mins since they got something to do. So me, Rachel and Ryan went back to rachel's place to send her off. We all went back to our home after that. And of course playing game and chatting again....infront of the pc 24/7.

Since most of the time i got nothing better to do. I downloaded some tv series like prison break the new season, some animes and of course movies. Not forgetting the Mtv VMA since i missed it. All of that only kill some of my time. So i need something other than that to help kill some time. I read manga of anime eventhough i know i hate reading. Well what to do, at least i'm doing something.

On Wednesday went to Mcdonald's drive thru somewhere nearby my place to meet up with LG, Nana, Su fen and Sean. Just to hang out and have a lil chat among ourselves.

Mainly talked about what happen or what their experience in doing their training.
Since most of them are training at F&B side. They get paid (damn) while me and Nana are in RD dont get paid :( well actually money is not a big issue anyway.
We talked till its around 1 then decided to get playing card since su fen was talking about some card reading thingy. We all head over to LG's house with Nana's driving us there.

Well su fen's card reading thingy actually kinda true i'm pretty surprised myself. LG showed his 1/4 left of Black Label and Sean got excited to try it lol well since his blood circulation is kinda good, his face easily turn red after drinking. After that we just play big 2 among ourselves and some blackjacks. The clock shows its already 2am and they decided to head back home since its already late. Well basically that's all for Wednesday.

Thursday went smoothly like any other day. Woke up and back to the same routine. I got myself some short pants. Other than that, all i get is stress playing game. Finally i got a call from the Fresh Gear (which is the place i bought my phone and the place where i sent it for repair) informing that my phone is repair and can be picked up tomorrow. Phew after 2 long weeks with my spare phone lol.

Why it's boring these days

Holidays still on going and i still can't think of something meaningful to do rather than sitting at home doing the same thing which is play game for hours and hours. Industrial report is 3/4 done and i still got like 6 weeks more or less to do it.

Well since it's Fasting Month, felt kinda lazy to go out. My gf is not in Malaysia. Some friends stayed far away. Some are still working part time.

Sharing what i'm currently listening to these days. Which is a solo album from Alex (Clazziquai) - Vintage Romance. I've been a fan of Alex's vocals since I first heard him as part of Clazziquai. I also like the presentation of CD albums in Korea.

Nowadays, Alex's popularity has skyrocketed with his participation in a celebreality show called 우리결혼했어요 (We Got Married).Alex's first solo album fits nicely within the Korean ballad genre, but also flirts with a little more rhythm and soul. In addition to a couple of featured rappers, the album includes a few songs most likely inspired by Stevie Wonder. If you've ever been to a noraebang, you know that Koreans love Stevie Wonder. (As does most of the world.)

Currently favorite song in the album is Waltz Lesson feat Whale, Kkakjikkyeoyo feat. Gaeko from Dynamicduo and Miss. Understand feat. Simon Dominic.

You guys should check out the We Got Married korean tv show at crunchyroll.com. It's a really funny show.

The summary of the show ?

4 predetermined (as in participants don't choose who their partner is, but the pairings are set up by the PD) couples are allotted a certain amount of money ($20, $40, etc) to prepare dinner for themselves. The participants try to portray themselves as a real life couple and go out together to buy groceries for dinner. It then follows them to a mock home where they prepare the dinner and eat. In between scenes there are interviews with the participants asking questions like what they feel about their partner and what they like or don't like about him/her. The actual date together as a couple and the interviews are all prefilmed and the participants and MCs watch it all back. At the end, each side of the couple privately chooses if he/she would stay together with his/her partner or not.

The 4 couples which is Crown J and Seo In Young, Alex and Shin ae, Andy and Solbi and Hyun Joong and Hwangbo.

Yesterday & Today =)

Both of these days started like any other day. Wake up at 4.30am for sahur then go back to sleep, then wake up again. Did the same thing on both days too. Chatting with my baby, playing game and so on.

Yesterday i break-fast at Sun & Surf @ Sunway Resort Hotel. Why there ? cause my uncle invited the staff to eat there along with us ( me, sis , ana , azizan and mazrina ). I can say the food is nice especially the satay, fresh oysters and the lamb ! ahah lamb is my favourite !

After few hours later, Ana, sis and me decided to walk around sunway pyramid before going home. Since Aisha's birthday was on wednesday (2 days ago). Ana decided to buy for her an Armani Code perfume.

Today same thing again. For breaking-fast today we had korean food at Nol Boo Restaurant at Sunway Pyramid. Well we are regular customer here since dont know how many years already, the only place where i usually eat korean food. After done eating, decided to buy some famous amos cookies its been awhile since i ate them.

Well today my sis got me a new nike shoe since my shoe is already old and some are stolen lol. Well here's how it looks like.

Hmm still dont know what to buy for hari raya clothes. Since i dont know which colour to choose for this year hari raya. Anyway its still too early for that. Hari raya is like 3 more weeks lol.

Anyway i'm still sad since my baby already left for Oxford, UK already :( she's gonna be there for 2 years. Wow such a long period. Hopefully we can stand strong till then.

Joanne's 19th birthday and gathering

Yesterday was joanne's 19th birthday.So,happy birthday to her. The day before that we went to her place at ridzuan around midnight to give her a surprise birthday party. Basically we all talked about our experience of training in their respective place. We also planned to go to Pavilion the next day to celebrate her birthday.

The next day we all went to pavilion. Since its already lunch time, we all decided to go and eat at The C.Club which is located on top of coach boutique. From the environment of the restaurant you can tell that its an expensive restaurant lol.

I already forgot lol well sorry since i cant remember the names of the food since most of them have long names lol.

I can say that the food was nice and the service were very good. lol of course the amount you pay is how much the level service you will get. :P

After lunch shae had to leave us since he got stuff to do somewhere.

The rest of us just carry on walking around pavilion. The girls were busy looking at stuff while the boys were still hungry lol. The boys decided to go to Michael Angelo's to eat pizza since joanne were training there before and recommended the pizza there. The pizza only cost us around RM 25. Cheap huh. Sorry someone forgot to take picture lol.

After 3 hours of walking around pavilion. We decided to give atika n nadya a visit at their workplace which is the TGI Friday at Life Centre KL. The moment we reach there. A girl suddenly ran out of TGI Friday and were screaming like a crazy girl lol ahahahaahahah but actually its atika who were so happy to see us when we got there lol. Well yea since most of us didnt see each other for like 2 months of course we miss everyone right ?

Well since we are there of course we would order something to eat right ?


Friday's Sundae for me and lg. Yong Jay who is still hungry ordered steak for himself. Fried mac and cheese and salad something to share for all.

Well after finish eating and talking. Atika arranged something for Joanne since its her birthday.
You know in TGI friday's when it is someone's birthday they would ask you to stand on your chair to make a speech and then they would sing something for the birthday guy/girl and also free slice of cake too lol.

Well after that its time for us to go since its already late. say goodbye to everyone and left to go back home.

1 day left :)

Today is the 2nd last day of my training at sheraton. Its been 2 months since i train here. Everyday working 9-5 is gonna end soon :) YAY ! but what am i gonna do on holidays ? i'll probably have like 1 month+ of holiday. Since next month is Ramadhan month, i think i can't do much either. Let's talk about yesterday, after work straight to carrefour to work on my specs(its been awhile since i wore my specs anyway) my cousin called and invited me and sis to eat seafood at somewhere near the subang airport. Picked up uncle at Sunway Resort Hotel and went straight to eat dinner. We had crabs, prawns(allergy to prawns OMG!WTH),chicken,garoupa fish,oysters and many more lol. We didnt plan much after ..just sent uncle back to the hotel and went home at USJ 26 (new house) to take some stuff. After that my cousin , sis and me went to pyramid to catch a movie there. We were planning to watch meet dave...but in the end we watch Mirrors (18PL) usually english horror movie kinda sux...but i can say that this movie is good. My 2 lovely ladies already went for holiday :( 1 off to Beijing another to Jakarta..gonna miss them ;( well it felt kinda lonely now..since i usually go out with them...now either eating alone or cook something for myself at home. There's not much work to do now at office...so it felt like the time moves slower than usual...i've always anticipated for the clock to reach 5 pm lol and yes i'm still in sales and marketing department (which is 3 weeks already) Hmm i think there's someones birthday today at the office..i heard they bought lots of food to celebrate which is after 5pm today. There's also a farewell dinner today for the trainee...since most of us will be leaving this friday. i still dont know what's my plan for this holiday...my uncle promise me to bring me along to jakarta since he go there every week hopefully i get to tag along :) hmm so where to go ???? give me ideas !!! i dont want to just sit at home doing nothing ...that's kinda lifeless..anyway gtg now

Sheraton Subang Annual Dinner '08

Well yesterday was the annual dinner for Sheraton Subang which is held only once a year.Well sorry as u all know me, i don't like to take pictures for some reason :) . Most of the staff n trainees get to enjoy themselves tonight. For this annual dinner, we have a dancing competition between departments. Even trainees get to join in which ever department they're currently in. As for me, i didn't performed but just watch my colleagues (sales and marketing) performed. Well we didn't manage to win instead the Engineering department got the 1st place, 2nd place goes to F&B and 3rd to Front Office. Congrats to the winner. We all had fun watching them performed. For those who loves to drink, we get to drink free flow of wines n beers (that's why many people didn't turn up for work today lol). Back to training story, I'm left with 2 more weeks of working YAY ! :) well me and Bryan was planning to invite some people to go holiday with us either to Singapore or to Pulau Langkawi. Hopefully we can go there cause we really need a break from working anyway ? who doesn't right ? okay see you people. Enjoy your training.

Training in purchasing department

Its been almost a month since i start working in the purchasing department. First week was receiving goods from the supplier. All i do was chop on the invoice, sign and check the goods whether its in good condition or not. Repeating the steps the whole week. Well for second week, i mostly stayed in the office typing in the information from the price quotation and start comparing prices from different supplier. Usually there's alot of information to be type-in and take like the whole day of looking n typing it in. For third week, its a mix of both of them. Finally i'm in the last week in purchasing. The last week is much fun because there is this pretty girl from our college but doing higher diploma and she's from indonesia. The motivation to go to work haha :) well looking forward for next week since i'll be training in sales and marketing for 1 month. Btw training at sheraton subang hotel and towers again.

well its been awhile since i last my post my blog....yeah i know...been pretty busy with exams ...and today was the last paper for term 4 final exam which business english..it was kinda easy actually since if u know the format of doing the essay u wouldnt have a prob doing it. Other than that will be going back to sheraton subang hotel and towers again for training but this time it will be just in sales and marketing. hopefully it wont be boring since most probably will just follow ppl around doing sales at the hotel. ya i know...i dont like to post pictures in blogs :) well i started to go to gym again at california fitness at sunway pyramid this time....its a nice place with alot of gym equipment that covers most of the body part u want to workout..well past few days did nothing but studying for exam from saturday till friday today. went for movies with suat ling ,her sis suat lay and bunch of friends for the made of honour premiere at TGV One utama...we've enjoyed the movie :) ...apart from that meet another girl called angelyn chong ( pretty girl ) she's 1 year younger btw...been chatting alot with her on msn...well since now its the holidays...i need plans !!! anyone wanna go somewhere ? or do something fun ? call me ! :P
